MB „Gedi ir partneriai“ is a company that specializes in remote healthcare technology and provides cardiac life-saving solutions for the healthcare industry. The new innovative wearable smart t-shirt monitors patient’s ECG remotely, and if there is any irregularities, sends the information directly to the medical staff, who can analyze the data and quickly make a decision if there is a need for urgent medical assistance, or simply to make an appointment to see the doctor. This technology not only aims to reduce time being spent on waiting to receive medical care, but also, this type of monitoring could reduce emergency healthcare visits, save time and resources, thereby reducing costs of the healthcare system. Additionally, continuous and remote patients’ ECG monitoring, without interference in their daily activities, contributes to the peace of mind and autonomy of the patient. We enhance capabilities to prevent, detect, treat and manage diseases and other measurable risk factors, along with, deliver innovative solutions for healthcare organizations.
Our company is focused on bio signal recognition technology in order to develop and manufacture medical devices and accessories. We believe that, remote healthcare technology could alleviate the problem of emergency rooms overcrowding. Moreover, an easy-to-use monitoring system requires no technical skill, nor physician‘s office visit, only to be aware of battery performance and life. We are committed to improving preventative patient monitoring and care, our technology is based on smart textile, smart mobile device, smart signal identification, and smart data bases. Not only hospitals, but also patients in the areas with difficult access to medical care, are our key target. Our dedicated international team of experts in hardware, software, business development, marketing and finance, will overcome any challenge to create better healthcare experience. The project initiator and creator Dr. Gediminas Mikulėnas wrote a PhD thesis about the ‘Recognition of bio signals on the basis correlation analysis‘. Most importantly, he himself had suffered a heart attack, and later got the idea that, at the time, if he had been aware and warned of an impending heart attack, it could have been prevented. Over the last four years, the smart t-shirt project has been developed out of passion and belief, furthermore, was entirely developed from private funds.
